JOB SUMMARY:

Digital Position is a fast paced, high energy marketing agency where our entire team works remotely. We're seeking an entrepreneurial-minded SEO Account Lead to create, coordinate, and execute custom SEO strategies that are aligned with the client’s KPIs. The range of SEO tactics include, but are not limited to: audits, testing, research, analysis, implementation, and ownership of day-to-day account management. You'll spend 30% of your time communicating with clients, 50% growing organic traffic for our clients, and 20% working to help grow Digital Position or assist with improving our processes. A deep understanding of the conversion funnel and marketing best practices are required to succeed in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Day-to-day management of SEO clients. Be familiar with all SEO clients, results and account details. 

  • Daily use of reporting, analytics, and SEO tools.

  • Have a deep understanding of how the client runs their business and industry to align with SEO initiatives.

  • Collaborate on an up-to-date search marketing strategy based upon client objectives while making recommendations for how best to meet and exceed client needs.

  • Collaborate with SEO Specialists to prioritize and carry out SEO research tasks.

  • Weekly and monthly reporting to clients and SEO Managers on KPI’s and organic performance metrics.

  • Establish client trust as an SEO authority.

  • Study industry trends and changes in the search landscape. This includes assessing impact of changes to our clients and developing strategies in response to industry updates.

  • Help team develop and execute project plans that can be automated for scalability.

  • New business account audits & presentations, scoping and upsell opportunities.

  • In-depth keyword & competitive research with an understanding of how to translate opportunities into action.

  • Oversight of execution projects to ensure SEO best practices are being met.

  • Analyze & interpret results for the clients with steps needed for continuous improvement.

  • Work with other members of the team to ensure the SEO strategy complements and amplifies all marketing initiatives.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

2+ years of experience in:

  • Agency experience managing SEO for websites that drive 50k+/mo organic visits

  • SEMRush

  • Google Analytics

  • Google Search Console

  • Google Business

  • Screaming Frog

  • Microsoft 365 Suite apps including Outlook,Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Advanced understanding of all aspects of SEO including technical, local, on-page, etc.

  • Hands-on experience executing SEO tactics and strategies

  • Strong time and project management skills with the ability be agile in a constantly evolving work environment

  • Demonstrates resourcefulness to find the whys and how then share new learnings with the team

  • Posses an attention to detail with a quick SEO sense to look for potential red flags

  • Self-starter with initiative to contribute to client and team success

  • Keen critical thinking and analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset

  • Ability to think outside of the box to offer creative SEO solutions that can help set the client as the “perfect” SEO example within their industry

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • History of achieving results by meeting or exceeding client goals

  • Proven ability to scale organic traffic

  • Knowledge of how paid & organic traffic work together

  • Capacity to analyze organic traffic to maximize return on execution investment dollars

  • Highly organized with the ability to work on divergent brands and projects

  • Effective storyteller to clearly explain SEO performance, organic metrics, and recommend next steps

  • Collaborative and team-oriented while at the same time be able to work on your own effectively and efficiently with minimal oversight

  • Prioritize and respond to client/team emails and calls in a timely manner

  • Create clear Excel reports using pivot tables, vlookups, hlookups, etc.

  • Ability to self-manage time (remote), adapt to changing environments and ultimately measure on results

  • Shopify and/or WordPress knowledge is a plus

  • Google Analytics Certification preferred

  • Google Tag Manager knowledge is a plus

  • Google Adwords or PPC experience is a plus

  • Monday project management platform experience is a plus
