PPC Account Lead

Reports to: PPC Manager

Experience: 4-5 years’ experience in PPC

Digital Position is a fast paced, high energy marketing agency where our entire team works remotely. We're seeking an entrepreneurial-minded Paid Search Supervisor to manage paid traffic, develop strategies, run tests, analyze campaign results, implement optimizations, and provide day-to-day management. Channels include paid, display, video, contextual, retargeting, and social advertising. You'll spend 25% of your time communicating with clients, 40% growing established channels, 20% focusing on establishing new strategies & channels for clients, and 15% working to help grow Digital Position or assist with improving our process. An understanding of the conversion funnel and marketing best practices are required to succeed in this role.


  • Manage a small PPC team of remote individuals

  • Define budget and CPA thresholds for all campaigns

  • Optimize and create campaigns, keyword targets and ad copy

  • Develop, manage, and optimize retargeting

  • Find and implement new opportunities in search, social, lead generation, and display

  • Provide feedback to clients on landing pages

  • A/B testing across multiple channels

  • Analyze & interpret results for the clients with steps needed for continuous improvement

  • Work with other members of the team to ensure the paid acquisition strategy complements and amplifies all marketing initiatives


2+ years of experience in:

  • Managing $50k+ Monthly Budgets

  • Search (Adwords, Bing, Yahoo)

  • Retargeting (Google, AdRoll, Criteo, Facebook)

  • Researching Keywords (SEMRush)

  • Social Advertising (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest)

  • Video Advertising (YouTube)

  • Shopping Feed Optimization & Shopping Campaign Management

  • Google Analytics


  • History of achieving results by meeting or exceeding client goals.

  • Proven ability to scale paid traffic while maintaining CPA targets.

  • Knowledge of how paid & organic traffic work together

  • Capacity to analyze demographics to maximize return on client marketing investment dollars

  • Highly organized with the ability to work on divergent brands and projects

  • Effectively manage a small team

  • Create clear Excel reports using pivot tables, vlookups, hlookups, macros, etc.

  • The ability to self-manage time (remote), adapt to changing environments and ultimately measure on results

  • An understanding of how conversion tracking works and the best ways to set it up

  • Shopify knowledge is a plus

  • Google AdWords/Analytics Certification preferred
